"A man who constantly jostles among the most experimental and fascinating projects"

Projects

NANOART

Nanoart explores the unseen world at the nanometric scale, where art becomes invisible to the naked eye. Through the fusion of science and creativity, I challenge the boundaries of human perception, making the intangible visible. This project not only reveals a hidden universe but also relativizes the centrality of the human perspective, showing how vast realities exist beyond our limited senses. By merging art and nanotechnology, Nanoart embodies hybridization between the organic and the technological, inviting reflection on our place in an interconnected system.

OKKULT Motion Pictures & The Giphoscope

Okkult Motion Pictures & The Giphoscope merge digital and analog worlds by transforming archival footage into animated GIF art and giving it a physical form through the Giphoscope, an analog GIF player. This project explores the boundaries between past and present, digital and tactile, reimagining how ephemeral digital moments can be preserved and experienced as interactive, tangible works of art. The fusion of historical and contemporary, digital and physical, highlights the power of hybridization, while questioning the role of the human as both creator and observer in an increasingly digitized world.

Alexander Van Glitch

Alexander Van Glitch is a digital alter ego that explores the fragmentation of identity through glitch art. Using only a smartphone, I deconstruct and distort digital images, creating works that reflect the chaotic, fragmented nature of contemporary life in the digital age. This project celebrates error and imperfection as powerful creative forces, while addressing the hybridization of human and digital identities. By distorting the human form, Alexander Van Glitch questions the stability of identity and relativizes the central role of the human in an ever-shifting, tech-driven reality.

Catherine Gipton

Catherine Gipton is a virtual art curator powered by artificial intelligence, designed to explore the boundaries between human and machine creativity. Far from being a mere tool, Catherine offers critical insights and interpretations of artworks, acting as both co-creator and curator. By blending human intuition with algorithmic logic, this project embodies hybridization between human and non-human intelligence, challenging traditional notions of authorship and expanding the possibilities of curatorial practice. In doing so, it reflects on the relativization of human authority in the face of evolving technology.

AI Art

AI Art explores the creative potential of artificial intelligence as both a tool and a collaborator in the artistic process. By integrating machine learning algorithms into the creation of digital artworks, I investigate the fusion of human intuition and algorithmic logic. This project delves into the hybridization of human creativity and machine-generated aesthetics, relativizing the role of the artist and inviting viewers to reconsider the boundaries of artistic expression in a technology-driven world.
