Research

Anthropoperiphery

THE CONCEPT

Anthropoperiphery is the artistic research project I have been developing since 2004.

My research unfolds through art as experimental philosophy: a sequence of artistic experiments testing the limits of human centrality in systems of perception, culture, images and judgment.

Each experiment constructs a condition in which the role of the human subject is critically questioned: works beyond direct perception, cultural archives circulating outside institutions, images generated or transformed by digital systems, and curatorial practices delegated to an artificial agent.

In this context, art becomes a tool of inquiry, a way to observe what happens to reality when the human being ceases to be its central point of reference.
