Art, fashion, music, and artificial intelligence come together in Alessandro Scali’s project for Paratissima and Torino Outlet Village.

The Endless Spring exhibition by Paratissima opens on April 1, 2025. Curated by Laura Tota, it’s an open-air exhibition that unfolds through the boulevards of Torino Outlet Village. A surprising blend of contemporary art and fashion featuring four female artists, each presenting a series of four photographic works.
Bridging art and fashion even further—through artificial intelligence—is 'my' virtual creation, Catherine Gipton, the world's first AI Art Curator. In this exhibition, she doesn’t appear as a virtual curator, but rather in a new role: Art & Fashion Advisor. Catherine will present a series of four spring outfits, each inspired by the artistic projects of the four featured artists. She wears the outfits herself, shown on large-format images displayed on totems throughout the exhibition.
On each totem, a QR code allows visitors to access a Spotify playlist curated by Catherine and inspired by each artist’s project.
The first track of each playlist offers a unique experience: Catherine’s own voice—expressive, warm, and accessible—guides listeners through each artist’s world in a language that’s direct, fresh, and pop-inspired.
Catherine will also appear on the digital walls spread across the Torino Outlet Village boulevards: a short video will welcome visitors and invite them to explore the exhibition.
Her presence won’t be limited to the exhibition space. Catherine will also appear across social platforms with photos, videos, and audio content, shared through Paratissima’s and Torino Outlet Village’s social media channels.
The Catherine Gipton x Endless Spring project is a complex and layered journey that brings together art, fashion, and music through the use of AI. As the creator, I feel the need to reflect on how it was made. Everything relies on tools that are actually accessible to anyone—for just a few euros per month. I’m referring to tools like ChatGPT for text prompts, Midjourney for images, Runway, Kling and HeyGen for videos, ElevenLabs for voice, and Suno for music.
There are no secrets here, no exclusive tools for specialists. So what truly makes the difference today? Without doubt, the human element: a mix of creativity, skill, and knowledge that steers artificial intelligence exactly where the “pilot” wants to go. It might sound obvious, but AI doesn’t create anything on its own—it needs human input to produce results. The more specific and refined the input, the more surprising and unique the outcome will be. On the other hand, shallow or generic prompts will only deliver flat, characterless content.
